Abstract

|
An infant, aged 1½ year old, misswallowed a safety pin.
As the blood clot was noted on the upper part of the oropharynx, the emergency examination with skull X-ray was taken.
The safety pin was discovered in the nasopharyngeal portion and removed with forceps easily.
